Spikefin is a software development workshop founded in 2002 and based in Wellington, New Zealand with clients around the world. We love working with technology to make our lives, and yours, a little bit (or hopefully a lot) easier.

The Spikefin POS software platform is comprised of an easy-to-use but powerful point-of-sale, online management and fulfillment suite designed specifically for foodservice franchises.

Technology

Our team is proficient with a variety of modern technologies including Java, Flash & ActionScript, iPhone (Objective C), VB, xHTML & CSS.

The Spikefin POS software is developed using the Java development environment, used in conjunction with Adobe Flash for most user interfaces and a relational MySQL database that handles the load and complexity of business data with ease. The Spikefin software can be installed on Linux, Apple OSX or Windows operating systems, but is currently only supported on Ubuntu and Windows XP. Spikefin operates strict authorization and security policies to ensure the safety of customer data.
